Open six days a week, the Valais St-Maurice Media Library, created in 1974, contains over 80,000 documents available for public use, a free reader's card (BibliOpass), work and relaxation areas and office tools, including internet access (PCs, printers, photocopier and a Wi-Fi network). 

The library specialises in educational documentation but also offers collections that are available to all readers for their personal development and discovery of literature. It runs a programme of cultural events for all ages, from entertainment for small children to lectures, exhibitions and training courses.
